Santa Clarita’s ‘Celebrate’ series offers residents a chance to experience global cultures through music, dance, and cuisine.
Held on the second Friday of each month from April through September at the Canyon Country Community Center, each event spotlights a different country, bringing its traditions to life. For instance, the upcoming event on August 14 will feature Jamaica, offering attendees a taste of its vibrant culture.
These events are free and family-friendly, running from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Attendees can collect a ‘Celebrate Passport’ at their first event, earning stamps at each subsequent one. Each stamp provides an entry into the Celebrate Raffle, with prizes inspired by the featured countries. Winners are contacted after the final event in September.
By participating in the ‘Celebrate’ series, residents not only enjoy diverse cultural experiences but also strengthen community bonds, fostering a deeper appreciation for the rich tapestry of global traditions.
